Netlify
Industry leader for static sites with focus on good DX. 100gb bandwidth, Netlify Identity, serverless functions, edge functions, global CDN and much more.

Amazon S3
5gb storage and 1gb bandwidth and harder to set up than most

Begin
Begin is a platform built on top of AWS that focuses on serverless functions and API. It supports static websites using CloudFront as CDN. It’s open-source and doesn’t lock you in.

Cloud 66
Uses other cloud providers hosting. Cost $1.99 pcm plus bandwidth and build time over 120 mins.

Cloudflare
Unlimited bandwidth, free built in analytics. 500 builds per month (16 per day). Cloudflare Workers are Cloudflare’s serverless functions.

Firebase (Google)
Only 10gb bandwidth per month and its dodgy Google innit.

GitHub

GitLab

Heroku
No free tier now but their basic plan is $0.01 per hour of compute time up to a max of $7 pcm.

Railway
Now has a $5 pcm charge. The free trial is $5 worth of resources that could last a amonth or more depending on usage.

Render

They say:

“With Render’s Free instances, you can spin up web services, Redis instances, and PostgreSQL databases at no charge. Free instance types have usage limits and are designed to help you to explore new tech, build personal projects, and preview Render’s developer experience.”

Surge
Very simple to run using their CLI but does not build sites. Upload static files directly to their CDN.

Vercel
Very generous free tier but this is for non commercial sites only. Fast CDN.

Zeet.co
The free tier allows for up to 3 projects on one cluster. Aimed at Kubernetes users and Terreform.
